What can I say? There are many musicians who do their homework before coming to rehearsal and then you have others who don't. The ones who don't do homework come to rehearsal clueless thinking they can come in and just be oblivious to what is going on in the music because it's "rehearsal" but a rude awakening is always awaiting in the horizon.
There were some musicians who came to rehearsal without doing their homework before hand and it really held up the band in a mighty way. They just came in not knowing what to do and that's just not cool. However, in the end this particular musician has to "face the music" when the curtains go up and showtime starts.
